Asian-style Steamed Fish
Ingredients
- 1 lb of cod
- 1/2 lb of string beans
- 2 c. of prepared rice
- drizzle of sesame oil
For the sauce
- 1 tbs. of vegetable oil
- 1 tbs. of ginger
- 1 tbs. of garlic
- minced hot pepper (if you'd like)
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1.5 of water
- 1 tbs of cornstarch
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 scallions sliced thinly sliced
Combine all the sauce ingredients and pour into a pan. Cook the sauce over medium heat until sauce thickens. Steam string beans and fish. Pour the sauce over the steamed fish and string beans and drizzle sesame oil. Serve over rice.
